Rainbow Promise Me Songs

About

Rainbow Promise Me Songs is the first poetry book written by the author. Many of the poems were written while the Fisher was stationed overseas with the United States Army. Most of those original poems were lost due to vehicle repossession while leaving a military base after Desert Storm in 1992. So those lost poems had to be remembered and rewritten. This book has many different types of poems, ranging from rhyming poetry, prose, teaching, humor, and also what some book reviewers may view as argumentative. Hopefully the reviewers can get past their own biases and observe the range and depth of style. And if they can, they should enjoy the romantic poems and the poems that present nature in a different light.

Rainbow Promise Me Songs at first glance may appeal to the reviewers and readers, the softer and lighter of the four books, penned by the author. Upon further study the readers should surely obtain a more contemplative perspective. Just like the other three poetry books from the author this entire book from cover to illustration and sequencing is designed to tell parts of a whole story. The front cover has a double rainbow appearing over what seems to be a lake. What looks like white specks are actually sea birds.
